I’m at my peak at studying.. I’m working really hard.. hope it pays off… I’m so tired now, I dun think i can describe the feeling to you… head feels like its going to pop… need a breather that’s why I’m writing this…

There are times in life where you have to learn life lessons…

TO FORGIVE AND FORGET

It’s probably the hardest thing that we all have to do. Easier said then done. We all find it hard to do. It totally goes against our fleshy nature to hate, to keep our pride, to be unforgiving… just shows how we have fallen short of God’s glory… as my friend told me ” That’s why we all still need grace”… friends (and note to self), we all have been forgiven by God and we ourselves are the biggest ones that NEEDS forgiveness… so why not start by forgiving others just like how we have been forgiven ? food for thought.

TO LOVE

There can be a billion things that people can give to define this word. To start things out, we all speak a different love language. By words of affirmation, by physical touch, by gifts, by acts of service or even by spending quality time. Everyone has a different perception of how love is to them. One thing I’ve learnt, learn the different love languages that people speak and that will help express our love better, to our family, friends, and the ones we don’t know. Sometimes we care, but we don’t know how to show. So here is a good place to start.

FRIENDSHIPS

Superficial or deep, there are many levels to define friendships. We’d all like to think that we have the latter type of friendship. But somehow sometimes it doesnt always turn out that way does it ? Relationships break down and friendships fall apart sometimes not because its meant to be, but because we tend to be selfish in the end. We think of ourselves more than the value placed on our friendships. Don’t get me wrong here, some friendships are not meant to be good for us and all that, but I’m talking about the ones that can work but fail to, because of something that we can change. Sometimes, friendships don’t even start, because we form prejudgements of each other. Like it or not, you’d be a saint if you have never ever judged a book by its cover. Sometimes our prejudgements of others can really ruin friendships that are already there or not even there yet. Sometimes its silly isn’t it ? When we look back together, and laugh and the time where we thought this person was “too blonde”, “too nerdy”, “too proud” or of a different color or race, but in the end, end up as best friends…So never ever let ur prejudgements destroy friendships and relationships…Take it from one of the two greatest commandments as God has given us, “Love others as you love yourself“.

By writing all these things, it’s not that I’m not guilty of doing all these wrong things, but its because I am guilty of it. I;m writing these things so that you would not make the same mistakes as I have. I apologize if I’ve failed to forgive and forget, failed to show you that I love you, and failed to make our friendship grow better or even if I’ve failed to know you better. I’m only human living by the grace of God.

Making a difference…

Just a small shout out to all those who has donated to my cause or rather to the cause of the Children’s Home of Hope. I really really do appreciate every cent and every bit of encouragement I’ve recieved. God bless you for your generousity and your willing heart to bless others with what you have.

Who says one person can’t make a difference? With the help of others, we can.

Okay, I’m terribly sick now. Down with flu and fever. But I’m still looking forward for tmr. Nothings going to dampen my mood now.

God, I need your divine healing. Need to last through tmr and for this week.

As you all know, I will be going bald for charity next Tuesday.

If you don’t know what is it for,
I’ll tell you now.

Proceeds from donations that I will be collecting will be going to a home called the Children’s Home of Hope. This is a home under the National Cancer Society which actually provides a “home away from home” for cancer patients that are undergoing treatments in KLGH. These cancer patients are usually coming from other states to get their treatments at KLGH. As you all know, these treatments are not cheap and they usually span over a long time. So families and their children  actually have to live here for a moment. This would be costly for them due to the high rental and other things that they might have to foot out for apart from the expensive medical bills.

There’s a significance in shaving bald.
Not only to raise money for them , but also to identify with what chemotherapy cancer patients go through.

So if you feel compelled to give , if their struggle pulls your heart strings, then make a difference by donating to the cause.

Hey people, its been a long while since I’ve blogged. Blogging seems like a luxury nowadays.. With exams coming round, I spent my whole mid-term break studying from morning till night.. today’s the only day I really am letting lose and letting my hair down…its been a long and tiring week.. on normal days, I’d be busy catching up sleep, doing research or assignments or just having classes… Thats pretty much my life… going back and forth from uni to church and sometimes out (but quite rare nowadays)… But hey, like i said before, I ain’t complaining… I’m just enjoying whatever comes my way (: I live I talk I breath med everyday… sooner or later, lunch conversations get filled with bio stuff…. frightening actually… I’m being professionally socialized… haha! bet all of u out there will be too, to a certain extent… (:

I’m so sorry I haven’t been replying your previous email…. Oregon really looks like a fairytale place la… the picture you took in the forest really looks like Edward Cullen is going to jump out of it and catch u… hahah! Speaking about Twilight, I finished the series before uni started…lol… i really wanted to strangle Bella in the earlier part of book 4…lol… How you keeping up with your studies?
